Trip Organisor

There are a number companies who are happy to help you to arrange your trip according to your needs. It can be just a flight or a hotel reservation.... Or a romantic dinner in Vienna with classic opera performance... Or a full program, including excursions, guiding, meals or concert tickets.

However, you can do it yourself. Here we list some of main tools for organising your trip, starting from planning the roads to sightseeing and restaurant reservations.

Be careful of the websites which collect all your travel details. Save your plans traditionally on PC and print them out for the trip. As a security copy, you can leave it in Dropbox.com or Google Drive. I would not trust electronic all inclusive trip organisers, especially in case of free service.

It is easy to plan your trip, if you have the right tools.

Travelling by car

For sight-seeing

…travel.sygic.com

...maps.google.com

For hotel booking

…Booking.com – a very convenient tool. It is easy to see the properties, guests’ reviews, make a reservation and cancellation.

Why I prefer this website is that your can trust the guests’ review. In contrast to Trip Advisor, where anyone can leave a comment, Booking.com allows only reviews from guests, actually stayed at the property.

If you have a problem at place, the customer service at booking.com is great. They are always at hand. All my bookings are done through them.

Watch out cancellation fees, which some hotels may have, but it is not a practice. Choose a hotel with no fee. You never know what can happen in life and you would have to cancel the reservation.

For hostels booking

…Hostelworld.com,

…Hostels.com,

…Hostelsclub.com,

…Hostelbookers.com

For apartment booking

…airbnb.ru

…flatinrome.it – here you can book an flat in Rome directly from the owner

For car reservation:

… autoeurope.com – An absolutely the best tool to rent a car. They have offers from almost all car renting agencies. If you are booking in advance, the prices are fantastic! The service is easy to use and pay. All my car reservations are done through them.

For ferry booking:

If you take your dog by ferry to the UK, it will not be allowed onboard. It will need to stay either in the car or in dog hotel for additional fee. The journey to the UK takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the route.

If you take a ferry to Sweden or Danmark, you can buy a ticket for your dog and it will stay with you. For overnight ferries, there are cabins where the dogs are allowed to. During the journey such ferries will have a place where you can walk your dog. Very convenient!

For Eurotunnel:

… eurotunnel.com – Eurotunnel could be more expensive than ferry. However, if you travel with a European dog, I would recommend to go through the Eurotunnel. During the trip your dog will stay always with your. The journey takes half an hour.
